Our water sport center lies directly on the Bentota River, in Aluthgama , 60 km from International Airport and Few km from your Hotels, resorts or villas between Beruwela and Bentota. We provide the following activities Windsurfing, Surfing, Waterskiing, Wakeboarding, body boarding, banana ride, tube ride, jet-ski, Deep Sea Fishing, River Fishing, Snorkeling, diving, river cruises.Our well-trained and experienced instructors and certificate holders are pleased to welcome you in our water sport center and to assist you in the discovery of the richness of the tropical waters of the Indian Ocean. The training is carried out by the sri-lankan’s top windsurfer and water skiing champion.
Sunshine Water sport Center is well stocked with the latest water sports equipment with special emphasis on your comfort and safety. Equipment for children is available. Our water sports activities and lessons are carried out in English, German, French.
Our base crew is always pleased to assist you just for fun or fitness with your water skiing, Windsurfing, Jet-skiing and other Water Sports.
Boats are on hand to take you to adventure cruises up river where you can see the diversity of the nature, birds, water monitors, crocodiles.
Deep sea fishing, snorkeling, and diving are available from the month of November to April as the sea condition are good at that time. The other activities are available all year long as they are done on the river.
We provide beginner courses and others for diving under the PADI certificate and done by Padi certified instructors. For the windsurfing, we are members of the VDWS (Verband Deutcher Windsurfing Schule, Germany ).This gives you the opportunity to do a beginner course with a certificate recognized world wide.
