The knuckles Mountains Range National Park or Dumbara Kanduvetiya meaning mist-laden mountain in Sinhalese is situated in the center of Sri Lanka in the districts of Kandy and Matale is a fantastic unspoilt area of Sri Lanka which is now opening up to people of all ages that like to experience nature and the local people at a leisurely pace it is listed as a Unesco World heritage site.
The whole area is charaterised by its amazing landscapes often topped by clouds. The area apart from its beauty is a climatic microcosom of Sri Lanka from topical rainforest through tea plantations to cloud forests much of the flora and fauna cannot be seen anywhere else in the world.
