Paradise beach Wadduwa is located at 68 km to the South from the International airport near Colombo. Protected by a coral reef with a length of 7 km, this beautiful beach is very popular destination among tourists.
Wadduwa is a very developed resort place with many of different level hotels and villas, scattered over a Golden beach with palm trees. Reef curbing the power of the ocean, so this place is ideal for families with children. Also a huge number of cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops and shops are there.
Most visited time for tourists (high season) on the South West coast, is the period from November to May. Nightlife is virtually nonexistent. For practicing water sports all conditions – there are plenty of them. In addition, the coral reef still has for diving.
There are no tourist attractions here, so tourists with pleasure going on 1-2 day trips or travel to Colombo.
