Colombo Port Maritime Museum

Maritime Museum located in the former Dutch prison, which was built in 1676 on the territory of the sea port in Colombo. Now this is the only surviving Dutch period building in the port of Colombo. The building was restored and modernized to accommodate artifacts worth 25 million U.S. dollars. The Museum was officially opened in August 2003.
